Renee Hoffman is the hands and heart behind Whole Lotta Gypsy. My hope is that each creation finds a special place in your home and makes you smile every time you see it.

I love working with clay and transforming it into something both beautiful and functional. Some pieces are wheel thrown, hand-formed and crafted from clay, while others begin with vintage slip-casting molds.

I enjoy blending tradtional pottery techniques with vintage ceramic artistry. Through color, texture, and design, I add my own creative touch to every piece, making each one unique.

My favorite part of the process is watching a simple piece of clay become something that brings a smile to someone’s face ~ whether it’s a favorite coffee mug, a whimsical garden gnome, or a special holiday decoration.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me wandering through antique stores in search of hidden treasures. I love giving old things new life and often use vintage finds to create texture and give character to my work. One of my favorite tools is a doily that belonged to my great-grandmother. Little touches like these help make each piece uniquely my own, carring with it the warmth of family, the love of handmade traditions, and a connection to generations past.
